Enjoy a boat trip around the island in style and discover its stunning coastline, with pristine cliffs that plunge 150 meters into the crystal-clear sea where enchanting caves with turquoise sandy bottoms can be found. Coves and inlets where you can swim and immerse yourself in the silence that can only be accessed by boat and bays with emerald waters and beaches with golden sand.
Amazingly, San Pietro remains relatively unknown even to many experienced travelers, and this is the perfect activity for those wanting a diverse experience in an overlooked part of the Mediterranean. The boat tours provide the ideal mix of exercise and relaxation. They are suitable for families looking for fun and for those who just want to sit back and relax as the coastline slips by. It’s easy to understand why boat trips are more popular than ever.
The boats used on these tours are two beautiful vintage boats, both newly renovated and equipped with all the necessary comforts. On-board you will find awnings to shelter from the sun, cushions to relax on, an easy access ladder for a safe ascent from the sea, a bathroom, kitchen, use of below deck, and the skipper also organizes a typical Italian lunch for everyone! Including an aperitif, an appetizer, and a freshly cooked fresco, fresh drinking water, and liqueurs.
The goal, weather permitting, is always to complete a full tour around the Island of San Pietro.
TWO BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE BOATS TO CHOOSE FROM Albertuia
The Albertuia is a wonderful wooden boat, built in the 1950s and newly renovated in 2016. It’s the perfect boat for a comfortable cruise on the sea. The boat colours, white, blue, and natural wood, blend perfectly with the infinite shades of the sea around the Island of San Pietro, providing a serene and relaxing experience.
Its length of 11 meters, makes it manageable enough to approach the coast, cliffs, and caves. And the skipper, who is an expert connoisseur of the island, will lead you to the most beautiful places in complete safety.
Roger II
The Ruggero II was reborn in 2004 with its original name, and being the only bilellella left in the area, it has become a symbol of cultural heritage under the aegis of the Historical and Environmental Geomineral Park of Sardinia. It won the “best restoration of the year” award in 2004 and is equipped with all the comforts you could need. It’s also possible to visit what oceanographer Jacques Cousteau called “the most beautiful coast in Europe, and perhaps in the world,” in front of the far Pan di Zucchero, between Porto Flavia and Laveria Lamarmora. Or the islet of Corno, under the lighthouse of the island, and the beach of Porto Pino, which is famous for its very high white dunes.
